JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo rotated his staff at the Regional Police (Polda) level. One of them is the North Sumatra Police Chief (North Sumatra) Inspector General Ridwan Zulkarnain Panca Putra Simanjuntak who was replaced by Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi.

"The Rotation of the Kapolda 3 personnel and the Deputy Chief of Police 6 personnel," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in his statement, Monday, June 26.

Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi previously served as Assistant Operation (As Ops) of the National Police Chief. Later, the position will be occupied by Inspector General Verdianto Iskandar Bitticaca.

Then, the position of West Sulawesi Police Chief left by Inspector General Verdianto Iskandar Bitticaca will be filled by Inspector General Adang Ginanjar.

Meanwhile, Bali Police Chief Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra was also rotated. His position was replaced by Brigadier General Ida Bagus KD Putra Narendra.

Meanwhile, for the Wakapolda level rotation, Brigadier General Soeseno Noerhandoko was appointed as Deputy Chief of the Central Sulawesi Police, Brigadier General Agus Salim became Deputy Chief of the Bengkulu Police, and Brigadier General Samudi as Deputy Chief of the North Maluku Police.

There was also Brigadier General Asep Safrudin who was rotated as Deputy Chief of the Riau Islands Police, Brigadier General Roma Hutajulu as Deputy Chief of Police of West Kalimantan, and Brigadier General I Gusti Kade Budhi Harryarsana was appointed Deputy Chief of the Bali Police.

Overall, there were 539 members of the National Police who were rotated. The transfer of this task is a refresh and promotion in the ranks of the Bhayangkara Corps.
