Ganjar Pranowo: Jokowi's Program Must Continue To Be Controlled

JAKARTA - The PDIP Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo emphasized that the Indonesia development program made by President Joko Widodo must be continued. He assessed that the program initiated by Jokowi would be maximized in order to make Indonesia a independent country.

"Pak Jokowi has given a lot to Indonesia for 10 years. It's amazing. Infrastructure is built extraordinary. Yes, isn't it? Then social assistance, then we try to become an independent country. So Pak Jokowi realized Bung Karno's dream so that we can be independent in the economy," said Ganjar when meeting thousands of NTB people on the national field, Selong, East Lombok, NTB, Sunday, June 18.

Ganjar assessed that Indonesia is a country that is very rich in natural resources. Thus, these assets must be managed by the Indonesian nation's children so that the added value is felt by the people.

"So, there are many of our natural resources that are already managed by the nation's own children. If Freeport is taken over. If we don't sell nickel to foreign countries, and we can do it ourselves, then the added value is with us. That's PR (homework), which we have to finish today," he said.

Related to this, the governor of Central Java for two terms ensured that all programs that President Jokowi had implemented in 10 years of government must be continued, so that the impact would be even greater for the community.

"So all programs that have been provided by the president, it's time for us to give a faster added value, good, so that the benefits for prosperity are more. That's what we must oversee together," said Ganjar.

Ganjar also invited the entire community, especially those in NTB, to take part in building the beloved Indonesian nation.
