JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Metro Police (Polres) implemented three layers of security during the match between the Indonesian national team against Argentina on Monday at 19.30 WIB at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Jakarta. Each spectator will also be inspected for luggage. "According to the provisions, ring 1 to ring 3," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Komarudin, quoted by ANTARA, Monday 19 June.Komarudin explained that the three layers of security consisted of ring 1 security which secured all access to the stadium. Then for Ring 2 security secured all access to the GBK Main Stadium Ring Road. "Furthermore, Ring 3 secured the entire GBK area and traffic flow outside GBK," said Komarudin. Komarudin also added, inspection of spectators was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the world football organization, FIFA. "In accordance with the procedures (permanent procedures) and the provisions of FIFA, examination of goods that are permissible or cannot be brought," he said. Metro Jaya Police deployed 5,596 joint personnel to secure the football match between Indonesia and Argentina on Monday at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Senayan, Central Jakarta. "We have prepared 5.596 personnel for securing the Indonesian national team match against Argentina," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko when contacted in Jakarta, Saturday.

Trunoyudo explained that the personnel involved were from Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro Central Jakarta, TNI, to the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. "There are 5,253 personnel from Polda Metro Jaya and Polres, under Operation Control (BKO) TNI 212 personnel and local government 131 personnel," he said.
