President Jokowi Will Give Votes To Ariani's Daughter In The AGT Semifinals

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said he would mess or help provide a vote when Putri Ariani appeared in the Live Show Semifinal America's Got Talent (AGT) 2023 in August 2023.

"We'll see because later the kanvote, start a vote. Later I'll join. I'm fussy," said President Jokowi after meeting Putri Ariani at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 14.

After hearing Jokowi's promise, Putri said she would be more enthusiastic to give her best in the Live ShowAGT round. In fact, Putri admitted that she had prepared tactics to appear impressive in the Live ShowAGT round. He kept this tactic a secret to make it a surprise in August 2023.

"Secret. I don't want to, don't be provoked," he told reporters who asked about his tactics. It is known, in the Live Shownanti round, a voting system will be set to determine which participants are entitled to advance to the next round.

"Sir, you usually ask for a bicycle. If Putri asks for a vote," said Putri to Jokowi.

Putri also thanked Jokowi for the support given. He did not expect to get a direct appreciation from President Jokowi.

"It's amazing to be proud and touched. It's amazing. Putri did not expect to be appreciated by the President. This is extraordinary. Thank you very much, sir," said Putri.

Putri hopes to continue to make Indonesia proud in the international arena and be an inspiration to the younger generation of Indonesia.

"And all of my friends can follow in the footsteps of the princess," he said. During the meeting, Putri Ariani showed the "Golden Buzzer" she got from the 2023 AGT jury to President Jokowi. Meanwhile, President Jokowi also provided "syere money" in the form of savings for Princess provision in the United States.

After holding a meeting with the President, Putri sang her two songs, namely "Loneliness" and "Indah Dunia Permata" at the Merdeka Palace.
