Jambi Police Arrest Perpetrators Of Car Robbery Mode Of Supplying Drug Mixed Drinks

JAMBI - The Jambi Police Ditreskrimum Resmob Team arrested the perpetrators of the robbery that was troubling the public by giving drugs that caused the victims to become unconscious.

The Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Kombes Mulia Prianto, said that the perpetrators of the robbery that disturbed the public were arrested on Friday (9/6) when the perpetrator was on his way from Palembang-Jambi.

"Perpetrator H (43) is a robber from Riau, who carried out the action by inserting drugs into the victim's drink, so that the victim was drunk or half-aware," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, June 12.

The origin of this robbery was known to the police when it was wrong or the victim reported what happened to him.

The incident was reported to the police by a truck driver, who had been the victim of the robbery.

The chronology of the incident began with the perpetrator, namely H, contacting the victim (T), namely a truck driver. The perpetrator then intended to rent the victim's truck used to transport goods to Jambi at a cost of Rp. 2.5 million.

From the offer, the victim accepted it. After traveling to Bayung Agkir, the truck driver or the victim asked him to rest for coffee. Then when the victim went to the toilet, the perpetrator launched his action by putting the powder into the victim's coffee.

Then the victim who had taken the coffee on the way felt drunk so he became half-aware. Then it was the perpetrator who took the wheel of the truck from the victim's hand.

Not only that, the perpetrator also made the victim, who was drunk or half-conscious, into the bushes in the oil palm plantation.

After receiving information from the victim, the Jambi Police Resmob team together with the Muaro Jambi Police Opsnal conducted an investigation, and received information that the perpetrator was traveling from Palembang to Jambi City.

Then the team immediately chased the perpetrator and found the perpetrator in action with the next victim who was drunk because he was allegedly given sawdust on the victim's drink.

After getting the perpetrators of the Jambi Police Resmob, they immediately secured the perpetrators as well as evidence and truck owners from the second victim. Then the second victim was taken to the hospital for treatment because he was drunk or half conscious.
