Eradicating Nail Mines, Polda Metro Collaborates With Ojol To Cyclists

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will cooperate with online motorcycle taxis and the bicycle community to comb the roads, especially on Jalan Gatot Subroto. The goal is to clean nail mines that are troubling motorists.

"There are many, from several communities such as motorcycle taxis we also involve, continue, users of bicycle lovers," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman to reporters, Saturday, June 10.

In weighting nail mines, the public is also asked to actively provide information. Thus, action against the perpetrators can be carried out immediately.

"If there is information, this requires cooperation from the community to inform us. Maybe there are people who want this evil intention to be informed to take action," he said.

The reason many parties involved in eradicating nail mines was because the perpetrators were often cat and mouse with the officers.

This means that the perpetrators will carry out their actions if there are no officers. But with the involvement of many parties, supervision will continue to run non-stop.

"Of course we carry out patrols, but if this is indeed a cat and mouse, we also cooperate with the safety lovers community as much as possible," said Latif.
