JAKARTA - So the target of passengers in various countries, many airlines offer flights at affordable costs, but still pay attention to service and safety.

Citing the product and safety assessment website in the world of Airline Ratings, there are the top 25 airlines at affordable costs in 2023, part of the Airline Excellence Award which is held every year.

Ordered by alphabet, these 25 airlines are taken from 365 airlines worldwide, with each region having its own best airlines.

AirlineRatings.com Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Thomas said, "Each of these airlines has a good safety record and has made major differences in their respective markets," quoted from AirlineRatings.com June 1.

"From Southwest Airlines which started a low-cost revolution in the 1970s to Flair and Bonza re-defined low-cost products, each airline has made a major contribution to its affordable journey," he explained.

He added that all selected airlines have good safety and incident records or have completed the International Air Transportation Association (IOSA) Operational Safety Audit.

"In Europe, Easyjet and Ryanair, in Asia/Pacific AirAsia, Jetstar, Scoot and Vietjet, while in America Flair, Frontier and Spirit can be added to other than Southwest. Everything stands out," he said.

As previously reported, Airline Ratings also issued 20 of the best airlines in the world. Air New Zealand managed to beat Qatar Airways which had to go down to second place, followed by Etihad Airways, Korean Air and Singapore Airlines, which complements the top five airlines.
