MAKASSAR - Presidential Chief of Staff Dr. Moeldoko confirmed that he would encourage an increase in performance allowances (reumerations) and Pauk Lauk (ULP) for TNI soldiers.

He conveyed this, when meeting TNI AD soldiers in the Infantry Battalion Raider 700/Wira Yudha Cakti, Kodam XIV/Hasanuddin, Makassar, Thursday, June 1.

At the meeting, Moeldoko, who was accompanied by Deputy II KSP Abtenego Tarigan and Main Expert of KSP Brigadier General TNI (Ret.) dr. Noch Tiranduk Mallisa, received a report related to the welfare of TNI soldiers.

Responding to this, Moeldoko emphasized that President Joko Widodo has a strong commitment to improving the welfare of TNI soldiers.

"Why? Because the state really needs you to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia," said Moeldoko.

"I will encourage the ministry and institutions including the President," he said.

In his direction, Moeldoko warned soldiers to remain neutral in the 2024 election and be able to maintain democracy properly. He admitted that the TNI space is not wide in maintaining democracy. Because, on the other hand, TNI members are also obliged to maintain stability.

"We must be able to balance stability and democracy so that we can continue to grow well. So prepare yourself to carry out your duties as well as possible," said the 2013-2015 TNI Commander.
