Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo attended the event organized by representatives of Indonesian Buddhists (Walubi) at the Lumbini Park Borobudur Temple Complex, Magelang Regency. This free socio-medical treatment activity is one of the series of welcomes for the 2023 Waisak celebration and has started since last Sunday. "Every Vesak has activities from Walubi, health social service and there are non-health activities as well. Thank you for your participation and this involves the TNI-Polri, Ministry of Religion and community groups," said Ganjar in a written statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 31. Ganjar also took the time to visit the treatment booth that is serving the community. Ganjar said there were 200 doctors involved in the free treatment. Consisting of specialist doctors, dentists and polyclinics. "The dental dipole turned out to be the busiest, because during the pandemic they never checked their teeth with a doctor, they were afraid of everything because they had to open their mouths," explained Ganjar. The two-term Governor of Central Java hopes that social activities based on the religious basis and unity of the Indonesian nation can strengthen the harmony between religious communities. "Hopefully they will also be educated on how to take care of their respective health. This way of working together is a value that we continue to develop and their enthusiasm is extraordinary," said Ganjar. Not only that, Ganjar is also advised that the free social treatment activities from Walubu can be a match for resolving health problems.
Moreover, currently Ganjar is promoting the acceleration of stunting reduction in Central Java. Ganjar wants all parties to be involved so that stunting can be suppressed. "Earlier I entrusted there were problems that we had to gang up on, starting from a healthy clean lifestyle, I continue to remind you that stunting, pregnant women, AKI AKB is a concern for all of us," said Ganjar.
