"The witnesses who have been examined by both the victim's witnesses, then the parents and friends around them are 10 people, so yesterday we agreed from the investigators to determine 10 suspects," said Parimo Police Chief AKBP Yudy Arto Wiyono in Palu, Antara, Tuesday, May 30.
Of the 10 people who have been named as suspects, five people have been detained while five others are still in the process of being picked up and arrested by police investigators. Currently, the victim is still receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Palu City.
"As a result of this incident, the victim is traumatized and is currently receiving hospitalization at a hospital in Palu because he is still experiencing pain in the stomach," he said.
As for the evidence that was secured, he said, was a sheet of black shorts belonging to the victim, a purple short-sleeved t-shirt and a brown boxed trousers which also belonged to the victim.
Previously, on Wednesday, May 17, the Parimo Police had named five suspects in the case, of which the five people carried out their actions at different times and places that were carried out from April 2022 to January 2023.

"Based on the testimony of the victim, one of them is this person. However, from the examination of witnesses examined, or the suspect who is already in this, there is no significant information so there is no evidence. There is still one, namely from the victim's confession," he said.
He also stated that five perpetrators had been detained by the Parigi Moutong Police at this time, one of whom was an individual village head (kades) and the other was a teacher.
According to Djoko, currently the victim has received assistance from the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Central Sulawesi Province.
