Case Of Domestic Violence Of PKS Politicians Entering The New Round

JAKARTA - The aftermath of a case of alleged domestic violence (KDRT) involving a politician from the Prosperous Justice Party with the initials BY entered a new chapter after being transferred to the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency.

Head of the Public Information Section of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Police Commissioner Nurul Azizah, confirmed in Jakarta, Saturday, that the handling of the domestic violence case had been carried out in the initial title.

"The results of the initial title are carried out further investigations," said Nurul, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 27.

Dalam penyelidikan lanjutan ini, kata Nurul, kasus ditangani oleh Subdit V Pelayanan Perempuan dan Anak (PPA) Direktorat Tindak Pidana Umum (Dittipidum) Bareskrim Polri.

"Currently the case is being handled by the Sub-Directorate V of PPA Dittipidum Bareskrim," said Nurul.

Previously, the alleged case of domestic violence carried out by a politician from the Social Welfare Party (PKS) with the initials BY was transferred from the Bandung Police to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

BY, who is also a former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PKS faction, was reported to the police regarding the alleged domestic violence (KDRT) against his wife with the initials M.

On Monday (22/5), Chairman of the PKS DPP for Public Relations Ahmad Mabruri said that the process of internal investigation into alleged disciplinary violations by a member of the PKS faction in the DPR RI with the initials BY was already running internally at the PKS DPP.

He said the report from the public that came in was in the form of allegations of domestic violence by BY. He added that BY had also signed a letter of resignation as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
