JAKARTA - The Murder Incident Guard Team (TP3) considers the case that killed 6 Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) troops as a serious violation of human rights (HAM). However, Komnas HAM stated that the incident was not categorized as a gross human rights violation.

"We, from TP3, hereby declare that the actions of state officials who are suspected of conducting surveillance to raise opinions and the enforced disappearance of some pieces of evidence constitute crimes against humanity so that they are categorized as gross human rights violations in the form of crimes against humanity," TP3 member Marwan Batubara told reporters, Thursday, January 21. .

Marwan emphasized that this case includes a violation against humanity or crime against humanity. In addition, the alleged case of the 6 FPI laskar was also deemed to have violated Law number 5 of 1995.

Therefore, TP3 asked for legal proceedings through a human rights court. This is in accordance with Law number 26 of 2000.

For TP3, the 6 incidents of FPI's laskar were called systemic attacks on civilians. The actions of individual apparatus according to TP3 are inhumane.

"For us, this is a denial of the rights of citizens and their families which should be guaranteed by the state as contained in law number 13 of 2006, for example of law number 31 of 2014 concerning the protection of witnesses and victims," said Marwan.

Marwan also regretted the attitude of the government. Because, until now, no action has been taken to reveal this case.

"Until now, the republic of Indonesia has not given public accountability for the murder of 6 FPI troops and has not conveyed an apology or condolences to their families," he said.

TP3 is a formation of 18 figures. They include Amien Rais, Abdullah Hehamahua, Busyro Muqoddas and Muhyiddin Junaidi.
