JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives with the initials B was reported to the Honorary Court of the House of Representatives (MKD) of the Republic of Indonesia on suspicion of violating the code of ethics related to domestic violence (KDRT) to his wife with the initials M.

Since May 2023, he said, the investigation process at the Bandung City Police has also increased and been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.
"Alhamdulillah, on May 9, the report continues to be transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters because the location of the incident was in three areas, Depok, Bandung, and Jakarta," he said.
He explained that in his complaint report to MKD today, his party also included a number of attachments including power of attorney, evidence of complaints to the Resort Police, identity of complainants, withdrawal of delegations to the National Police Headquarters, evidence to marriage certificates.
"But other evidence about post-mortem, then medical records, then evidence of beatings, photos, everything later, God willing, we will convey it during the trial," he said.
Although he has received a companion from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), he said that the victim's psychological condition is still unstable.
"So our client is currently psychologically unstable and our client also, thank God, received assistance from LPSK, so he didn't participate (to the DPR), we were given the power to make a complaint report to the MKD," he said.
