JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo asked the public to maintain the value of unity and integrity in order to realize a Golden Indonesia in 2045.

Sigit conveyed this while attending an invitation at the Subhanul Wathon Islamic Boarding School, Magelang, Central Java, Saturday. May 20.

"So, today I received an invitation from Rabithah Ma'aid al-Islamiyah (RMI) Central Java to provide material related to the problem of the challenge of pesantren facing radicalism," said Sigit as quoted by ANTARA.

According to the National Police Chief, this is very in line with the police program, which always wants to maintain the 4 pillars, called tolerance and a single life of Bhinneka Ika

He said maintaining and guarding and maintaining the spirit of unity and integrity of the Indonesian state was fundamental. This must be maintained by all elements of society.

This is considering that unity and unity as well as diversity are the main strengths of the Indonesian nation to face all the challenges that exist.

By holding hands, said the National Police Chief, all problems, both from within and outside the country, will be passed well.

For this reason, with the realization of the unity and integrity of existing diversity, said Sigit, this will bring the vision and mission to Indonesia Gold 2045.

"Because indeed the strength of our nation is the strength of diversity. Which, if we manage, of course, we will be able to bring Indonesia to an advanced Indonesia, a better Indonesia, an Indonesia that we aspire to together towards Indonesia Gold 2045," he said.

On the other hand, Sigit revealed the results of his discussion at the event that many students wanted to become police officers. The National Police Chief also welcomed the wishes of the students.

"So, there are many things that have been discussed, including many students who want to become police and I am very happy," said Sigit.

By joining students as police personnel, according to him, it is in line with the National Police's program related to the development of superior human resources, providing the best service, and realizing a loved one and close to all Indonesian people.

"With students who have the ability in terms of religion, of course we have no doubt. This will strengthen the development of superior human resources in the police. In addition, when interacting with the community, at this time, especially we continue to encourage and develop to be able to serve more and closer to the community," said the National Police Chief.

Meanwhile, Sigit also did not forget to socialize to all students to be aware of the spread of false information and black campaigns, especially on social media (social media) when entering the political year. This appeal is needed to avoid potential division of the nation.

"Therefore, we remind the whole community, especially students, to be really careful. So, filter before sharing," he said.

Regarding the democratic party, the National Police Chief reminded that whoever the leader's choice is in the future, maintaining and maintaining the value of the unity and integrity of the Indonesian nation is a fixed price.

"Any leader needs the unity and integrity of society, national unity and integrity, to carry out national programs in the future, and face global challenges that are full of uncertainty," said Sigit.

The National Police Chief also said that the National Police had formed a team and synergized with all parties to prevent the spread of false information or hoaxes during the 2024 General Election.
