Despite Floods, Perumda Ensures Clean Water Supply To 4,820 Customers In West Aceh Is Smooth

ACEH - Director of the Regional Public Company (Perumda) of Clean Water Tirta Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency Said Jauhari said the supply of clean water to 4,820 customers in this area remained smooth even though a number of clean water production facilities were flooded. "Thank God, so far the supply of clean water to the people of West Aceh has been smooth, there are no significant obstacles," Said Jauhari told ANTARA in Meulaboh, Aceh, Tuesday, May 9. Clean water supply to people in West Aceh is still served even though currently a number of sub-districts in the area are still submerged in water due to the high rainfall that has hit the area since the last five days. Said Jauhari said the production of clean water in the company owned by the West Aceh Regency Government currently reaches 85 liters per second by operating four engine units. There is also the reach of Perumda Tirta Meulaboh's services in West Aceh Regency, he said, currently there are still limited, namely in four sub-districts, including Johan Pahlawan District, Arongan Lambalek District, Kaway XVI District, and Meureubo District. He said that currently the supply of clean water to thousands of customers in West Aceh has also been carried out for 24 hours, so it is hoped that people who want to get clean water will not experience problems, especially during the current flood situation.

"We continue to strive to provide the best service to the community, so that people can get clean water supplies according to their respective needs," said Said Jauhari.
