ASN Pekalongan Using Official Cars During Eid 2023 Will Be Sanctioned With Additional Income Postponement

JATENG - Pekalongan Mayor Afzan Arslan Djunaid prohibits the use of official cars for the needs of the Lebaran 2023 homecoming holiday. He warned that state civil servants within the Pekalongan City Government who violate will be subject to sanctions.

"Official cars can be used for official purposes, that's just for inside the city," Afzan said after the destruction of bottles of liquor and Brong exhaust in Pekalongan, Monday, April 17, was confiscated by Antara.

He said that officials of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) who misuse official cars for Eid al-Fitr 2023 will be subject to sanctions, such as delaying the provision of additional employee income and reducing work value.

Furthermore, Afzan said that his party allowed residents to do takbir around using loudspeakers and cars on the eve of Lebaran 2023. However, on condition that they maintain public order.

"Indeed, there have been residents who have applied for permits for traveling takbir activities. However, we ask that traveling takbir be carried out in an orderly manner, not recklessly so that traffic flow remains smooth," he said.

On that occasion, he asked the public not to turn on firecrackers and release balloons because it could endanger flight routes.

According to him, residents are better off doing takbir in prayer rooms and mosques in their respective environments so that public order and environmental security are maintained.

"However, if indeed the traveling takbir activity has become a habit for residents, it can be done while maintaining public order," he said.
