BENGKULU - Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah is ready to give strict sanctions to every state civil servant (ASN) within the Bengkulu Provincial Government who is caught skipping during working hours is still ongoing. "We will give strict sanctions against ASN who are in the Bengkulu Provincial Government if they violate the rules," said Rohidin in Bengkulu City, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 12. The sanction given to ASN who skip is a form of deterrent effect so that the person concerned does not repeat his actions again. He asked ASN to maintain the responsibilities and discipline in the work that has been given and to be able to work as much as possible by providing the best service for the community. In addition, Rohidin reminded ASN not to increase the time off for Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah, which was previously set by the central government, from April 19 to April 25, 2023. Previously, the Bengkulu Province Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) collected data on dozens of ASNs shopping at shopping centers in the area during working hours. Head of the Regional Legislation Enforcement Division (PPUD) of the Bengkulu Province Satpol PP Marina said that the raid was carried out to ensure that ASN remained in the office and did not wander during working hours. Dozens of ASN work in various agencies such as the Provincial House of Representatives (DPRD) Secretariat, Food Security Service, Environment and Forestry Service and to the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dukcapil). He continued, data from the impromptu inspection will be reported to the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) and the Provincial Secretary of Bengkulu Hamka Sabri.
