Meeting Prabowo, Zulhas Mentions The Name Of The National Coalition Under Jokowi's Command

Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) met with Gerindra Chairman Prabowo Subianto at his residence on Jalan Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Saturday, April 8.

In a meeting that lasted more than an hour, the two figures discussed strengthening their commitment to building a major coalition in the upcoming 2024 General Election.

Zulhas said that the grand coalition was called the National Coalition to jointly advance Indonesia under the command of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Today I visit, of course, it is none other than to strengthen our national commitment. Everyone predicts that we have all the potential to become a developed country, a big country, that commitment that we are talking about, especially now that it has entered the political year, 2024 there is an simultaneous election. Big countries cannot be taken care of in one or two, but it must be big. take care of it, which we sometimes call the national coalition, "Zulhas said at a press conference in Kertanegara, Jakarta, Saturday, April 8.

"Because we need togetherness to advance this country, that's one of them, of course all under Pak Jokowi's command orchestra," he continued.

The Minister of Trade hopes that meetings between the general chairmen can continue so that the national coalition can be realized.

"With Gerindra we have a long experience, hopefully we will continue the relationship, and I am really ready to be anything, come here and there to knit this, so that it can come true, there is a strong, strong middle way to advance Indonesia," said Zulhas.

The former chairman of the MPR added that his party had communicated with the Head of political parties at KIB regarding the meeting with Prabowo this afternoon. Furthermore, said Zulhas, PAN will also visit the PDIP to explore the national coalition.

"I have also come to talk to Pak Airlangga and KIB. They are happy because of this friendship, the meeting is between the leaders of political parties. Moreover, it is important, what is not the same can be understood, especially if those who understand it can be the same, I think so," said Zulhas.

"Of course, later we will also visit PDIP, later KIB will also meet with Gerindra, maybe it's complete, right, the name is communication or this process needs to run," he concluded.
