Dozens Of Students Who Were Secured At The Makassar Police Were Finally Returned To Their Parents

JAKARTA - Kapolsek Makassar Kompol Zaini gave direction and guidance to a number of junior high school students who were arrested and parents of students at the Makassar Police Headquarters. The briefing was given so that students become students who behave well.

"Giving directions to students to behave well and maintain Harkamtibmas in the jurisdiction of the Makassar Police," said Kompol Zaini when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, March 22.

After counseling and coaching, the junior high school students were returned to their parents and families.

"Given that the teenagers are still school students and the elements of criminal acts are not fulfilled, we return them to their parents," he said.

Dozens of junior high school (SMP) students were arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Makassar Police and the East Jakarta Metro Police Precision Team in the Jalan Jatiwaringin area, Cipinang Melayu Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta.

The students were arrested because they wanted to do a brawl. The 36 teenagers were known to be students from SMP 17 Bekasi and SMP Assyafiyah Pondok Gede, Bekasi, West Java. For further processing, the dozens of students were handed over to the Makassar Police.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Makassar Police, Iptu Mochamad Zen, explained that the students were arrested while in the middle of a pickup truck about a brawl. They were prevented by a joint team of Polsek members and the East Jakarta Police Precision Team.

"We brought them to the command and carried out an examination, but the crime was not fulfilled. Because we will only (brawl) and we managed to prevent it, thank God," said Iptu Mochamad Zen when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, March 22.
