"Our countries, together with actors of the same opinion, have consistently supported the formation of a multipolar world order that is fairer under international law than certain 'rules' that serve the needs of 'one billion gold'," said President Putin.

"Russia and China are consistently working to create a fair, open and inclusive regional and global security system that is not aimed at third countries," he continued.

"In this case, we note the constructive role of China's Global Security Initiative, which is in line with Russia's approach in this field," President Putin said.
