Today, SAR Team Opens Access To The Location Of The Disappearance Of 4 Landslide Victims In Bogor

JAKARTA - The joint SAR team is still trying to search for 4 victims of the landslide disaster in the Empang Village area, South Bogor District, Bogor City, West Java on Thursday, March 16. The search method is still the same as yesterday. However, this time the search for victims began to be minimized.

"We have started opening access to suspected locations today," said the Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, March 16.

Even though the 4 victims have not been found, the joint SAR team is still persistent in searching for the whereabouts of the missing victims, who are believed to have been buried in the landslide.

"The search is still being carried out using the same method as yesterday. Currently, nothing has been found," he said.

Previously, based on a public relations report from the Jakarta SAR Office, as a result of the landslide disaster in Bogor, West Java, as many as 17 people became victims. At least 11 of them were reported safe, 2 people were found dead and 4 people are still being searched.

The landslide disaster occurred on Tuesday night, March 14 at around 22.00 WIB. The four victims who are still being searched are Yuli (65), M Yusuf (8), Cucum (50), and Azzam (5).
