A Teenager Missing In Rawa Gede Lake When Helping Drowned Elderly Has Been Found, 4 Meters At The Bottom Of The Lake

JAKARTA - Putra (32), a drowning victim in Rawa Gede Lake, Rawalumbu District, Bekasi City, was finally found by the joint SAR team in a dead condition on Wednesday, February 15.

"The victim was found within a 5-meter radius from the incident location. The victim's body was immediately evacuated to the funeral home," said the Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli to VOI, Wednesday, February 15.

The body of the victim Putra was found by a team of divers.

"The victim was at a depth of 4 meters below the water level of Rawa Gede Lake," he said.

Currently, two victims of drowning in Rawa Gede Lake, Bekasi, have been found. Previously, a victim named Ahmad Gunawan (50) was found in a lifeless condition.

"I appreciate all the personnel of the joint SAR team who have done their best to search until the two victims were found," he said.

The search for victims was carried out by dividing the search area into 2 teams. The first team conducted a search under the surface of the water using the aqua eye and the Underwater Search Device. Then proceed with diving around the scene.

"The second team is looking for visuals by land at a radius of 50 meters around the incident location," he said.

Previously it was reported that the SAR team evacuated the body of an elderly man named Ahmad Gunawan (50) who disappeared from drowning in Rawa Gede Lake, Rawalumbu District, Bekasi City, West Java on Tuesday night, February 14. The victim was found at a depth of 3 meters under the water of Rawa Gede Lake.

"Found dead at around 22.45 WIB. The diving process was carried out by a team of divers and we found the victim at a depth of 3 meters with a finding radius of 5 meters from the incident site," said the Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli to VOI, Wednesday, February 15.
