JAKARTA - The Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that the Sumedang Regency Government's stunting management application called the Integrated Stunting Management Information System (e-Simpati) was tested for use in 50 districts and cities.
According to Budi, the 50 regencies and cities that are testing the application from Sumedang are areas that have a fairly high stunting rate.
"This application, owned by Sumedang Regency, is the best and most extraordinary digital platform. I already asked permission from the Regent yesterday," said Budi in Sumedang Regency, West Java, reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 10.
Regarding stunting in the country, according to him, the central government is in the process of improving Indonesia's One Data. With that data, he said, later the government could have definite data.
"Including at the Ministry of Health itself, we have One Health Data and we want to confirm the data," he said.
Therefore, the Minister of Health appreciates the e-Simpati application as a commitment to handling stunting. Apart from that, according to him, the application could also be useful for adoption in other regions.
"So I want to come and see firsthand what Sumedang Regency is doing and be able to help regarding what Sumedang needs in reducing the stunting rate," said Budi.
