A Dead Victim In Collision Of Two Trucks In Pemalang-Batang Toll Road, Police Suspect The Driver Is Sleepy

CENTRAL JAVA - One person died in an accident involving two trucks at KM 319 of the Pemalang-Batang toll road, Central Java (Central Java). Police suspect the accident was caused by a sleepy driver.

Head of Central Java Regional Police Public Relations Commissioner Pol. Iqbal Alqudusy said the accident occurred in the Pemalang Regency area, on Wednesday 8 February in the early morning.

He explained that the incident began when a truck with police number B 9865 PCG, driven by Marthen Yelepele (53), a resident of Solo, drove from east to west.

"When we arrived at the scene, the truck collided with another truck that was driving in front of it," he said, confiscated by Antara, Wednesday 8 February.

He explained that the truck driven by Marthen collided with another truck with plate number B 9865 PCG that was driving in front of him.

He said the victim Marthen Yelepele died at the scene of the incident.

The victim who was suspected of being sleepy, he continued, resulted in being unable to control the vehicle he was driving.

The joint officers who received reports of the incident then evacuated the victims and the trucks and the goods they were transporting.
