JAKARTA - The Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT) and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will integrate their applications to prevent misuse of Village Funds.

The application that will be integrated is the Village Public Information System and Integrated Community Complaint Handling (Sipemandu) with the Jaga Desa application.

"According to the direction of Mr. President, there are two important points, namely first, Village Funds must be felt by the village community and second, Village Funds must contribute to improving the quality of human resources in the village which starts with improving the economy and community welfare," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Village PDTT Taufik Madjid, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 31.

His party has prepared a number of reporting or complaint channels, such as through the Sipemandu Desa application, website, and social media managed by the Public Relations Bureau, or directly to the Inspectorate General, Technical Directorate General, KPK, and the State Secretariat.

"So we agree if this complaint is carried out together, but maybe now it can be focused on managing the Village Fund, from planning, implementation, and monitoring," said Taufik.

With this integration, he continued, both the Sipemandu Desa and the Village Keeper can see directly the reports that are included to be handled together immediately so that Village Funds can be felt by the village community.

"The effect of maximizing the Village Fund can be felt directly by the village community so that it can improve their economy and welfare," he said.

Meanwhile, KPK Deputy for Prevention Pahala Nainggolan explained, the Jaga Desa application contains information about Village Funds, then information or literacy related to Village Funds and becomes a discussion forum containing reports and complaints.

"We hope that besides that there are also good practices that have been carried out by the village," said Pahala.

He also hopes that the synergy that has been carried out will later provide information about the program and the successes that have been inscribed so far to also be published on the Jaga Desa application.

"This is to show if the Village Fund has proven to be successful and give a positive tone to the community," said Pahala.
