LPDP Scholarship 2023 Open: Check Out The Requirements, How To Register, The Program And The Selection Schedule

YOGYAKARTA – The 2023 Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) Scholarship has been opened again by the Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance). This program, which has been held since 2021, is intended for those who wish to continue their education to the Strata 2 (S2/masters) and Strata 3 (S3/doctoral) levels. Every Indonesian citizen (WNI) who wants to continue his postgraduate or doctoral studies can register for the LPDP 2023 scholarship starting Wednesday, January 25-February 25.

Requirements for Applying for the 2023 LPDP Scholarship

As quoted by VOI from the official LPDP website, Wednesday, January 25 2023, the following are the general requirements for the 2023 LPDP scholarship:

1. Indonesian citizen.

2. Have completed a diploma four (D4) or undergraduate (S1) study program for a master's scholarship; master program (S2) for doctoral scholarships, or diploma four (D4)/undergraduate (S1) direct doctorate. For applicants from diploma four (D4)/bachelor (S1) directly doctorate must fulfill the following conditions:

• Have an Unconditional LoA from the target university, and
• Fulfills all the criteria as a doctoral scholarship program applicant (S3).

3. Applicants who have completed master's studies (S2) are not permitted to register for a master's scholarship program and applicants who have completed doctoral studies (S3) are not permitted to register for a doctoral scholarship program.

4. For applicants who graduated from foreign universities at the previous level of education, they must attach the results of equivalent diplomas and GPA conversions from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, via the ijazahln.kemdikbud.go.id page.

5. Not currently pursuing a master's program (on going) for the purpose of a master's or doctoral program for the purpose of a doctoral program either at domestic universities or universities abroad.

6. Not currently registering, will receive, or receive scholarships from other sources that have the potential to double funding as long as you are an LPDP scholarship recipient.

7. Applicants who attach an Unconditional LoA with a study start time that is not in accordance with the provisions of the LPDP must attach a statement of postponement of the study program lecture schedule from the Higher Education which is uploaded together with the Unconditional LoA.

8. Choose the target university and study program in accordance with the provisions of the LPDP.

9. Scholarships are only for regular classes and are not intended for classes as follows:

• Executive Class
• Special Class
• Employee class
• Remote Class
• Classes held not at the parent college
• International Class specifically for Domestic purposes
• Classes held in more than 1 (one) higher education country
• Other classes that do not meet the provisions of the LPDP

10. Willing to sign/approve the statement letter on the registration application in the statement format (points attached).

11. Fill out your profile on the online registration form.

12. Write a commitment to return to Indonesia, post-study plans, and contribution plans in Indonesia.

• Writing a Research Proposal for doctoral education program applicants.
• Write history and scientific publication links (if any).

How to Apply for the 2023 LPDP Scholarship

As information, the 2023 LPDP scholarship is open for 3,256 students. Meanwhile, as many as 7,047 students who have received scholarships will continue to be maintained.

For those who want to apply for the 2023 LPDP scholarship, here are the steps:

1. Open the scholarship page lpdp.kemenkeu.go.id.

2. Click "Enter" on the LPDP-LPDP Scholarship menu.

3. Click “Don't have an account? Create an account here”. Then press "Ok" on the information pop up that appears.

4. Fill in the form provided, including email, password, full name, NIK, family card number, and place of birth.

5. Click “Create Account” if the form has been filled in.

6. Check the email used to register and verify the account.

7. Next, go to the LPDP Scholarship home page to log in with the account you created earlier.

8. Fill in personal and family data, including the latest educational information. If so, press "Ok".

9. If the information is complete, you can immediately register for the 2023 LPDP Scholarship by clicking "Register Scholarship".

10. Choose the type of LPDP Scholarship you want, whether Affirmation, General, or Targeted.

11. Complete all required information and documents

12. Next, click "Submit Registration".
