Buy Cigarettes At The Market, TNI Members In Puncak Papua Regency Died By OTK

PAPUA - A member of the TNI, Sergeant Jeky, was stabbed by an unknown person (OTK) at Sinak Market, Puncak Regency, Papua on Tuesday, January 24 at around 17.00 WIT.

Member of the Military Rayon Command (Koramil) 1714-04/Military District Command (Kodim) 1714/Puncak Jaya who suffered stab wounds to his chest and right arm were taken to the hospital but his life could not be helped.

"I was stabbed when I bought cigarettes at Sinak Market," said the Commander of the Military Resort Command (Korem) 173/PVB Brigadier General Sri Widodo, confiscated by Antara, Tuesday, January 24.

Danrem 173 said Serka Jeky was taken to the Sinak Health Center shortly after the incident. However, the health team of the Raider 303/SSM Task Force stated that the victim died at 17.42 WIT.

Currently, Serka Jeky's body is buried in Korami 1714-04/Sinak. It is planned that the body will be brought to Bima, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to be buried in his hometown. When asked about the perpetrator of the attack, Danrem 173 admitted that currently it is still under investigation by members of the TNI in Sinak. "It is not certain who the perpetrator is because it is still being investigated," he concluded.
