SURABAYA - The case of Domestic Violence (KDRT) that befell artists has occurred again. This time it was experienced by the artist Vena Melinda who was allegedly carried out by her husband, Ferry Irawan. Dirreskrimum Polda East Java Kombes Totok Suharyanto said Venna reported the case was initially handled by the Kediri City Police. However, the case was immediately taken over by Sub-Directorate of Renakta Ditreskrimum Polda East Java. "This was taken over because the reporter lived in Surabaya, so it was handled by the East Java Regional Police," said Totok, Monday, January 11. Totok admitted that his party had received the transfer of report files from the Kediri City Police. In the case file, it was revealed that the alleged domestic violence experienced by Verrell Bramasta's mother took place at a hotel in Kediri City. "The case occurred at the Kediri City hotel on Sunday," he said. Currently, said Totok, investigators from the East Java Regional Police's Sub-Directorate of Renakta are still examining the victim. Well, the victim himself has been examined since 10:00 WIB. "Still the victim being examined for the time being," he said. Meanwhile, the Head of Sub-Directorate for Renakta Ditreskrimum Polda Jatim, AKBP Hendra Eko Triyulianto, added that during the examination, Vena brought evidence. Namely in the form of towels and clothes that were allegedly worn during the domestic violence incident. "We just received the transfer of files, the reason was delegated, the reporter wanted to be at the Regional Police because he lived in Surabaya," he said.
