JAKARTA - A middle-aged man with the initials D (50) is desperate to steal a garbage cart next to Pos RW 15, Tanah Cereal Village, Tambora, West Jakarta. The perpetrator wore the uniform of the Environmental Service which he allegedly used to carry out his actions.

The man, a resident of Tanah Tinggi, Johar Baru Subdistrict, Central Jakarta, did not move when his actions were caught by local residents. The perpetrator was arrested and residents reported it to the Tambora Police.

Tambora Police Chief, Kompol Putra Pratama explained, the theft occurred when the perpetrator wore the air agency's UPK uniform, the Environment Agency, DKI Jakarta Province. The front of the shirt is written that Jakarta is Aware of Waste.

"This shirt is the suspect's mode of not being suspicious when the perpetrator steals the garbage cart," said Kompol Putra when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, January 3.

Meanwhile, from the perpetrator's statement to the police, the perpetrator had twice stolen a garbage cart. The theft of the first garbage cart was carried out in the West Pademangan area and the second theft was next to the RW 15 post, Tanah Cereal Village, Tambora.

"This incident began when the Head of RW 15 Habib Soleh A contacted the Tambora Police to report that his residents managed to secure one person who stole a garbage cart belonging to Rw 15. Bhabinkamtibmas Aiptu Rusito immediately came to the TKP," he said.

The perpetrator admitted his mistake and apologized to the residents.

"The perpetrator admitted that he had three young children and needed money to support his family," he said.
