JAKARTA - Head of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP Arifin explained about the wealth he reported in the 2021 State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) amounting to Rp24.59 billion.

Dari laporan harta yang tercatat di KPK, Arifin menjadi salah satu pejabat DKI yang paling tajir. Kekayaan pejabat Pemprov DKI ini sempat menjadi sorotan pimpinan KPK hingga anggota DPRD DKI Jakarta.

Arifin admitted that all his land parcels had been obtained for a long time, not when he was a high official for the DKI Provincial Government. Land and buildings have been owned from the range of 15 to 20 years ago.

"All LHKPN data that I input are the results of the acquisition from 15 to 20 years ago at a price that was still affordable at that time. Among them, when I was still the head of the village in 1999, the sub-district head in 2004, until I served as deputy mayor in 2015. This means that what I had long before I served as Head of Satpol PP DKI," Arifin told reporters, Thursday, December 22.

Arifin revealed, if the value of land prices is converted from the time he got it to the present, it is clear that the price will increase every year.

On the other hand, Arifin also explained that there was indeed an error in calculating the value of assets that were too high, so it was necessary to make improvements and re-valid.

"There are errors in filling in the data. Currently, it is calculated (the nominal value of the wealth). What is clear is that there was an error. We have excess filling in time. We will fix it later," said Arifin.

Judging from the LHKPN for the 2021 period, Arifin is recorded to have 1 plot of land originating from a grant without a deed and 8 plots of land and buildings from his own results, all worth Rp. 23.8 billion.

Then, Arifin also owns 5 vehicles with a value of Rp573 million, movable assets of Rp694 million, cash and cash equivalents of Rp200 million, and debts of Rp680 million. However, Arifin admitted that he could account for his assets.

"Everything I input can be accounted for for for for its origin," he said.
