JAKARTA - Directorate of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Thailand's Ministry of Trade will hold the two largest trade fairs in Southeast Asia. At the exhibition, a number of refrigerator products, air conditioning, compressors, electric and electronic products.

The two exhibitions in question are Bangkok RHVAC 2024 and Bangkok E&E 2024. The event will be held from September 4 to 7, 2024 at BITEC, Bangkok. This trade show opens for trade visitors from September 4 to 6, while public days on September 7th.

Representatives from the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Thailand's Ministry of Trade, Nittayanee Khawtehawan said that Bangkok RHVAC 2024 and Bangkok E&E 2024 are major events highlighting Thailand as a significant industrial procurement hub in Asia.

"This (Acara) will feature a new, environmentally friendly technology trend that answers the needs of producers and consumers with the aim of achieving Net Zero emissions," he said at a press conference at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, Thursday, May 2.

Nittayanee explained that Bangkok RHVAC 2024 will feature a complete series of RHVAC products from downstream to upstream such as copper tubes, motorbikes, compressors, coils, to finished products in all sizes and according to needs, such as air conditioning that can stand on the floor or on the wall, as well as other innovative items.

"Meanwhile, Bangkok E&E 2024 will highlight the latest innovations and cutting-edge technology of electricity and electronics products that include household needs products, to IT and OA, equipment and spare parts for industrial purposes," he said.

Continuing its latest success in 2022 with 114 exhibitors and 6,500 visitors from 50 countries, resulting in a sales value of 8,500 million baht with 99 percent, visitors showed the intention to visit Bangkok RHVAC 2024 and Bangkok E&E 2024.

"This year, the event is expected to attract more than 11,000 visitors from ASEAN, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States," he said.

Meanwhile, representative of Thailand's Air and Cooling Industry Club, Athit Thienlikit said this year, Thailand's estimated export of electricity and electronics products is still good with a growth rate of 5 to 6 percent.

"This profitable trend is driven by the fact that Thailand is a significant base for environmentally friendly products with international standard quality," he said.

In addition, he said, Thai manufacturers are also considering global efforts towards Net Zero emissions by developing products with higher efficiency and less energy, using alternative ozone-friendly cooling materials, encouraging the use of cold storage to minimize food loss to reduce lost food supplies.
