JAKARTA - The discourse on extending the presidency from two to three terms has re-appeared on social media. Previously, DPR Speaker Puan Maharani had suggested that the three-term presidential term needs to be reviewed.

DPR member Fadli Zon, via his Twitter account @fadlizon, immediately quipped the three-term presidential term.

"Just as well as the president's term of office can be as long as the Old Order era," said Fadli as quoted on Sunday, December 20.

MPR deputy chairman Hidayat Nur Wahid also spoke up. Through the Twitter @hnurwahid social media account, asked the DPR to focus on making quality laws. Not discussing the term of office of the president.
