Putri Candrawathi Recovers From COVID-19, Attends Live Follow-Up Session

JAKARTA - The defendant Putri Candrawathi will attend the follow-up hearing on the alleged premeditated murder of Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J in person today, Tuesday 29 November.

Putri tested positive for COVID-19 last week. So Putri underwent a trial online.

"Today, Mrs. Putri will fulfill her obligation to attend court," said Putri Candrawathi's legal adviser, Febri Diansyah when confirmed, Tuesday, November 29.

The presence of Putri Candrawathi directly at the South Jakarta District Court because she has been declared one hundred percent cured. Based on the examination, Ferdy Sambo's wife tested negative for COVID-19.

"The information I got was that the last test result was negative," said Febri.

For information, Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi were jointly charged with being involved in the murder of Brigadier J at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga.

Ferdy Sambo is said to have planned the murder. Meanwhile, Putri supports and helps her husband.

Thus, they were charged with violating Article 340 of the Criminal Code subsidiary of Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
