Golkar Strategy Gaet 60 Percent Of Young Voters, Look For Attention To Law Policies In The DPR

JAKARTA - The chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Dave Akbarshah Fikarno, revealed his party's strategy to attract the votes of the younger generation, which is estimated to reach 60 percent in the 2024 General Election.

Golkar, will prioritize young figures as the face of the party, as well as attract the attention of the younger generation with policies targeting young voters. Both, said Dave, will be carried out simultaneously.

"You have to be together, of course, to continue to remind and emphasize Golkar's position in increasing the portion of young people, you must definitely present young politicians. Apart from those within Golkar, they also recruit from outside. So that the younger generation enters the Golkar Party, and progresses in the legislative or regional elections," said Dave Laksono, Thursday, November 24.

In addition, Golkar also focuses on the pro-young generation policies. One of them is by fighting for laws and regulations that favor young people. "There must be concrete actions in the form of policies that favor the millennial generation. First, in the legislation policy in the DPR," he said. Previously, the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Golkar Party, Lodewijk F Paulus, asked party cadres to make millennials the main target of the 2024 election constituents. According to him, the Golkar Party will mobilize all forces, both ground and air troops, to win the 2024 election.
