Heavy Rain Forecast To Cover Parts Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted moderate to heavy rain will cover parts of Indonesia on Friday.

Reported by Antara, December 11, according to BMKG forecasts, moderate to heavy rain has the potential to fall in parts of Aceh, northern North Sumatra, Bengkulu, southern South Sumatra, and Lampung.

Rain with moderate to heavy intensity also has the potential to flush parts of Banten, West Java, Central Java and East Java as well as parts of Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan.

Parts of North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and South Sulawesi also face the potential for rain with moderate to heavy intensity. Likewise, parts of Maluku, West Papua and Papua.

The weather in other areas is forecasted to be cloudy or light rain, according to the BMKG.
