Asking PPP Women Cadres To Be Active, Mardiono: Mothers Are The Spearheads Of Socialization Facing The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - Acting General Chairperson of PPP, Muhamad Mardiono, hopes that the Women's Association for Development (WPP) will spearhead the socialization of the party's program.

"WPP as the party's autonomous body continues to be enthusiastic about socializing parties in the face of the 2024 general election," he said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Monday, October 31.

In addition, he continued, in recent times, party surveys have increased. This can be a spirit and motivation to socialize parties ahead of the election.

Mardiono said this when he opened a national seminar as well as a meeting with WPP leaders.

She hopes that the high spirit of WPP can fill the 30 percent female gender quota in the 2024 election.

"These women are part of the spearhead of socialization. God willing, 30 percent of the female gender quota can be filled from mothers who are present here or through zoom throughout Indonesia," he said.

In this event, Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno and SOE Minister Erick Thohir were also present. The two of them shared material with the theme 'Optimizing the Roadmap of the Women's Political Movement Towards Success in the 2024 Election'.

On several occasions, Mardiono often asked all cadres to disseminate information to the public regarding the use of their right to vote in the 2024 General Election. Including on this occasion.

"Of course it is the cadre's obligation to invite people who have the right to vote to vote," he said.
