SOUTH SUMATRA - Police evacuated the body of a man who was found dead floating in the waters of the Musi River, Seberang Ulu 1, Palembang, South Sumatra (Sumsel).

Head of Gakkum Satpolairud Polrestabes Palembang Iptu Cepi Amiruddin said the body of the unidentified man was first discovered by a resident named Erlina (38).

"Personnel from Polairud in the field confirmed the report on the discovery of the body at around 11.00 WIB," he said in Palembang, South Sumatra, quoted from Antara, Thursday, October 27.

Initially, witness Erlina, a resident of Jalan Faqih Usman, Seberang Ulu I District, intended to dispose of garbage in a shelter around the Musi River.

Then, accidentally the housewife saw the figure of a naked person's body swept away by the current of the river not far from her house.

"The witness reported to the head of the local RT, until our personnel followed up on the report by going directly to the TKP (the crime scene)," he said.

According to him, his personnel took the man's body to the Bhayangkara M Hasan Hospital in Palembang for an examination, so that the cause of his death could be known, the victim was due to drowning or murder.

As for the characteristics that can be recognized by personnel in the field, including earthquake victims, cooked sawo skin color, black hair.
