JAKARTA - In a series of visits to Indonesia, Palestinian Prime Minister Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Shtayyeh had the opportunity to stay in touch with his old friends - who are also the General Chair of the DPP Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo) - Hary Tanoesoedibjo. Hary said the arrival of the Palestinian PM for the second time to Indonesia, apart from being a state guest, was also a close friend. "He is a friend, so there are two hats, as a guest of the Prime Minister country, but also as a friend of mine," he said. During the meeting, the two built a friendly bridge to work together, explored investment in developing Palestine, and built the Palestinian economy. This is a tangible form of Hary Tanoesoedibjo's solidarity with the country. By doing something real for the people of Palestine, it is hoped that it will help create jobs for the Palestinian people. Shtayyeh, who has known Hary Tanoesoedibjo for a long time, said he was proud of the closeness of the two that had existed so far. "I have known my best friend, Hary, for a long time, and I am proud of his friendship," said Shtayyeh. Shtayyeh explained that his arrival to Indonesia this time was so special. In addition to being greeted and met by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Bogor Presidential Palace on Monday, October 24, he was also warmly welcomed by Hary, who is also a national figure in Indonesia. "I am a guest of the President of the Republic (Indonesia). We have been very well received by this country. We have had a successful meeting with the President with the government team, and today we have been treated by my good friend Hary and his team," he said. Shtayyeh also appreciated the great performance of a Hary Tanoesoedibjo. The reason is, it is not easy to create jobs for 30,000 employees, so it is a good step for the Indonesian state itself. "To be honest, what we see is very impressive, good work. A team that employs 30,000 people, I think it's good for Indonesia and now this country is making very good progress.
