Kemenkes Allocation Rp30 Trillion For Non-Catropic Katatropic Equipment

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has allocated a budget of Rp. 30 trillion for the procurement of non-surgery interventions for patients with cataract diseases throughout the city/district in Indonesia. "We are in the process of fulfilling the tools. I have allocated cancer, stroke, heart, and kidney of around Rp. 30 trillion until 2027," said Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin in Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten Province, Antara, Tuesday, October 11. He explained that the allocation of funds was sufficient for the procurement of non-surgery intervention equipment in all provincial health service facilities and 514 regencies/cities in Indonesia. The Minister of Health said that currently the number of health care facilities and health workers who specialize in surgery is not adequate. Of the 34 provinces, he said, only 20 provinces can take action using the cathlab method, while the other 14 provinces are still unable to provide services for catalyst diseases such as stroke, kidney, and heart problems. He said stroke was the second-highest cause of death in the world in 2015 and the highest cause of death in Indonesia in 2014. The prevalence of stroke in Indonesia in 2018 was based on a diagnosis of doctors in the population over the age of 15 by 10.9 percent, or an estimated 2,120,362 people. The provision of medical devices to deal with catatrophic diseases in Indonesia is one of the strategies prepared by the government to reduce case prevalence. Other efforts are made by strengthening promotive and preventive public health efforts, such as campaigning for balanced nutritional food consumption, maintaining blood sugar levels, routinely carrying out physical activities and no less important is routine health checks at least once every six months. “ If you haven't checked yet, do it immediately.
