Arriving At The KPK, The Mayor Of Cimahi Ajay Was Immediately Examined Intensively

JAKARTA - Cimahi Mayor Ajay Muhammad Priatna arrives at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building. Ajay was brought to the KPK after being caught in an arrest operation related to a corruption case.

After arriving at the KPK, Ajay, who is also a PDIP politician, was immediately examined intensively. The KPK said that Ajay was suspected of being involved in the corruption case for the construction of a hospital in Cimahi.

"Already at the KPK building (under investigation)," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, November 27.

However, Ali could not explain further about the case that was trapping Ajay. Because, he said, investigators were still conducting investigations.

KPK Deputy Chairman Nawawi Pamolango asked the public to be patient. This is because the investigating team is currently working.

"While the team is still in the field. So give time to the team in the field to work," he said.

"The name of this kind of activity is actually secretly and confident in nature, very, very closed," added Nawawi.

Even so, he said the KPK would immediately make an announcement, of course, after the case title was carried out.

"We will convey all these activities through the context, of course after going through the degree process at the KPK," he said.

Previously reported, Ajay was arrested by the KPK in a hand-arrest operation (OTT). He is suspected of committing corruption related to infrastructure development.

"The mayor is suspected of committing corruption in the procurement project for the construction of a hospital in Cimahi," said KPK chairman Firli Bahuri when contacted by reporters.
