2 Drug Dealers In Serang City Arrested, Police Find Many Plastics Containing Methamphetamine In Rooms

SERANG - The Serang City Police Narcotics Unit managed to arrest 2 drug dealers of methamphetamine at his home, in Pabuaran District. Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Serang City Police, AKP Agus Ahmad Kurnia, said the arrests were made after his party received reports from the public regarding drug trafficking in the area.

"After receiving reports from the public, officers led by Kanit I of the Narcotics Unit of the Serang City Police, Ipda Hadian, immediately went to the TKP (the crime scene) to make arrests," said AKP Agus, via text message, Wednesday night, September 7.

Agus explained that at the time of the arrest, the two perpetrators with the initials MA (31) and AP (21) were found to be evidence in the form of a large plastic package containing methamphetamine, a plastic package in size containing methamphetamine and seven small plastic clips containing crystal methamphetamine, in the wardrobe of the MA's room.

When questioned, the Supreme Court admitted to getting methamphetamine from the US which was included in the People's Wanted List (DPO).

"After being interrogated, it was explained that the methamphetamine that was found belonged to the US which was entrusted to the Supreme Court with the aim of making the Supreme Court help the US distribute the methamphetamine narcotics," explained Agus.

MA was promised a wage of IDR 1,000,000 by the US for circulating the goods. Not only that, but the perpetrators were also promised to get methamphetamine.

“Perpetrator MA was promised a salary of one million. And when brother MA took the narcotics in Pandegelang Square, AP was escorted by him,” he explained.

The perpetrators of the Supreme Court and AP are subject to Article 114 in conjunction with Article 132 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum prison sentence of 20 years.
