Reconstruction of Brigadier J's Assassination Affirmed by Vice President According to Jokowi's Wish: President Wants to Complete it, Don't Cover Anything

DENPASAR - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said that the reconstruction of the alleged premeditated murder case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J at the Police complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, was by President Joko Widodo's wishes.

After visiting the Bali Rising Small and Medium Industry Exhibition (IKM) at Taman Werdhi Culture Art Center Denpasar, Bali, Tuesday, Ma'ruf Amin hopes that the reconstruction of the case involving the former head of the National Police's Professional and Security Division, Ferdy Sambo, as a suspect can open the case.

"I think the (reconstruction) is by the President's wish so that it continues to be thoroughly processed, nothing is covered up, everything is opened", said Ma'ruf Amin in Bali as reported by ANTARA on Tuesday, August 30.

During the reconstruction at two places, namely Jalan Saguling III and the official house of the Head of the Police's Professional and Security Division at the Polri complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, five suspects were presented, namely Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer (Bharada E), Bripka Ricky Rizal, Strong Ma'ruf, and Princess Candrawati.

Vice President Ma'ruf said the alleged premeditated murder case must continue to be processed thoroughly without any cover-up, in line with President Joko Widodo's expectations. In addition, he added, the reconstruction of the case could also be a bright spot in the disclosure of the case.

"To prove (the case), apart from the BAP (Minutes of Investigation) it is also reconstructed to match, to ensure what has been in the BAP so far, so that it is clearer", he said.

The reconstruction in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, was led by the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Department Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi and began at 10.00 WIB.

The Saguling area became the scene of the first case reconstruction (TKP) which was attended by representatives of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM), the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), and public prosecutors (JPU).

Reconstruction demonstrates 78 reenactment scenes, consisting of 16 scenes from events in Magelang, 35 scenes at Jalan Saguling III, and 27 scenes at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga.

According to the results of the investigation, the shooting of Brigadier J was planned at Saguling's house, which is Ferdy Sambo's private home. Then, the official house of the Head of the Police's Professional and Security Division at the Duren Tiga Police complex was the site of the shooting of Brigadier J.

Inside the official residence, there is a wall of gunshots that witnessed the scenario of Ferdy Sambo.
