JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Komarudin, explained that 22,890 grams of crystal methamphetamine seized from suspect SM arrested in Medan, North Sumatra, was of very good quality. Because on the packaging the production code of the letter "L" is written in blue.

"It has the label 'L' written on it with chunks of (methamphetamine) quite hard, the corner (on the packaging) has the words "very good". This is SM's property," Commissioner Komarudin told VOI, Wednesday, July 27.

Meanwhile, from the confession of the suspect with the initials SM, he picked up methamphetamine transactions at the Kuala Namu gate, Medan.

"Transactions (drugs) there (Kuala Namu, Medan), continue to be taken home. Transactions using plastic bags have sacks again," said SM to the police at the Central Jakarta Police.

SM admitted that although he knew the tea packaging was methamphetamine, he didn't know exactly what it looked like.

"I didn't open it, I didn't know what it looked like (but I knew it contained shabu)," said the suspect.

The Head of Drugs at the Central Jakarta Police, Commissioner Panjiyoga, added that the suspect SM was still in the same network with DS and MS.

"(They) are still in the same network. The sequence is from the disclosure of cases that we have done. Until now our team is still on the move. The results of our analysis and the packaging that is secured usually comes from Malaysia," said Commissioner Panji.

Previously, it was reported that the Central Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit arrested three suspected couriers and drug dealers who were arrested in several different locations. The three suspects are known to have the initials DS, MS, and SM.

Two suspects with the initials DS and MS were arrested in the parking lot and area inside Soekarno Hatta Airport. Meanwhile, the suspect SM was arrested in the Medan area, North Sumatra.
