TNI And Polri Personnel Take Care A Soldier's Wife, Victim of Shooting In Semarang

SEMARANG - The Commander of the 0733 Kodim (Dandim) of Semarang City, Lt. Col. Honi Havana, confirmed that a joint element of the TNI and Polri was assigned to guard R (34), the wife of a TNI member who was shot by an unknown person.

"A duty picket has been prepared at the hospital where the victim is being treated," said Honi in Semarang, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 20.

Meanwhile, the victim's child, he continued, has been moved to a house in Yonarhanud 15/DBY Dormitory in Semarang.

According to Honi, a joint team of TNI and Polri is still pursuing the perpetrators of the shooting of the wife of the member of Yonarhanud 15/DBY.

It was previously reported that a woman with the initials R (34), the wife of a TNI member, was shot by an unknown person in front of her house, Cemara III Street, Banyumanik, Semarang City, Monday (18/7).

The Head of Semarang City Police, Grand Commissioner Irwan Anwar said that the victim suffered a wound in the abdomen as a result of the shot.

"Two shots, one lodged in the victim's stomach," he said.

The police have revealed the characteristics and roles of the four perpetrators of the shooting of R.

Irwan said the four perpetrators used two motorbikes, each a Kawasaki Ninja and a Honda Beat Street without a license plate.

The characteristics of the four perpetrators recorded on CCTV cameras around the scene are known, the perpetrator who act as executor of the shooting using a helmet commonly used for motocross, black and red shoes, and using a firearm that is suspected to be a pistol.

Two other perpetrators who were driving a Honda Beat served as guards during the execution of the shooting.

"One of the perpetrators is known to have long hair," he said.

From CCTV footage, he said, the perpetrators, who are suspected to be civilians, always communicate with someone by telephone before taking action.
