NAGAN RAYA - The Education Office of Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province has confirmed that it will rebuild two study rooms at the State Elementary School (SDN) Kuta Blang, Darul Makmur District, which were damaged by falling trees during strong winds in the area.

"We will fix it using the Regency Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBK), at least in the 2022 APBK Change," said Head of the Nagan Raya Education Office, Zulkifli in Nagan Raya, Antara, Thursday, July 14.

He explained that with the condition of severe damage to two study rooms due to natural disasters, it was confirmed that the current teaching and learning process could not be carried out in that place.

"Considering the level of damage to the two study rooms, the condition of the roof and ceiling has been damaged, so it cannot be used for a while," he said.

Zulkifli hopes that the proposed budget for the rehabilitation of the two study rooms can be accommodated in the 2022 Revised APBK, so that the damage will be handled immediately. Even if there is no budget available, he said, it is likely that the repairs will be carried out in 2023 through the 2023 APBK.

"Essentially, we hope that this damage can be handled immediately, in order to make it easier for students to learn later," said Zulkifli.
