JAKARTA - The Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Budhi Herdi Susianto opened his voice regarding the statement of the local Neighborhood Association (RT) chairman that CCTV around the shelter for the Head of the Police's Professional and Security Division (Propam), Irwan Ferdy Sambo at the Duren Tiga Police Complex, Pancoran, South Jakarta, had been replaced by the Criminal Investigation Department during a shootout incident between two aides.

According to him, what the head of the RT said might point to the CCTV in the post near the house of Inspector General Sambo. The reason is that the surveillance camera at that location has been confiscated by investigators, to uncover the shooting case.

"Perhaps what is meant by the environmental CCTV decoder that is in the post. Because the old one was confiscated by investigators. To keep operating, it will be replaced with a new one", said Budhi when confirmed, Wednesday, July 13.

"Maybe that's what (CCTV Pos) means. Logically, does the head of the RT know? Usually, the decoder is in the house?", he continued.

It was previously known that the Head of RT 05 RW 01 Seno Sukarto admitted that he received a report from one of the security officers that the shooting incident occurred on Friday, July 8, in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the surveillance camera or CCTV in the house of the Head of Police's Professional and Security Division did not work during the shootout between Brigadier J or Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat and Bharada RE. Police said the cause was because the CCTV camera decoder was damaged.

"Yes, the decoder is (broken, ed)", said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Budhi Herdi Susianto to reporters at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit, Tuesday, July 12.

With that breakdown, it wasn't just one camera that didn't work. However, all the CCTV installed in the halfway house was dead. Therefore, the shootout between Brigadier J and Bharada RE was not recorded.

"(CCTV) in the house (dead, red)", he said.

However, when asked about the number of cameras installed in the house, Budhi could not confirm it. Because, until now it has not been calculated in detail.
