Confession Of The National Police Chief: Bhayangkara Corps Is Not Perfect In Their Tasks

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo admits that the Bhayangkara Corps under his leadership has not been perfect in carrying out their duties. However, gradually all the shortcomings will be corrected.

"We confirm that the National Police are not perfect in carrying out their duties and service to the people of the nation and state. However, we promise that we will continue to improve and always be sensitive," said Sigit at the Bhayangkara 76th Anniversary ceremony in Semarang, Tuesday, July 5.

In fact, to improve the performance of Koprs Bhyangkara for the better, all criticisms and inputs will be heard.

Sigit said, although it will taste bitter, this is one way for the Police to become a law enforcement institution that is loved by the community.

"We promise that we will continue to improve, always be sensitive and listen to criticism and suggestions to the Police. Even though it is bitter, we will make an evaluation to realize the transformation towards a precise Police so that the Police are closer and loved by the community," he said.

Furthermore, the four-star general stated that on the 76th Bhayangakra Day, the National Police is committed to upholding the trust and expectations of the community. Especially, in terms of maintaining security and public order, law enforcement, providing protection, shelter, and services to the community.

"The National Police will also support and oversee all government policies in realizing economic transformation towards advanced Indonesia, a golden Indonesia in 2045," said Sigit.
