Giring PSI Expresses Desire To Become Governor Of DKI, PKS: Go Ahead If You Have The Guts

JAKARTA - Member of the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Abdul Aziz, responded to the desire of PSI General Chair Giring Ganesha to serve as Governor of DKI Jakarta in the future.

Aziz also welcomes if Giring intends to run for the DKI Jakarta Pilkada. Remembering, it is his right as a citizen.

"It is everyone's right to vote and be elected. Go ahead if you have the guts," said Aziz when contacted, Monday, June 13.

However, Aziz underlined that the right person to become Governor of DKI Jakarta is someone who has a mature vision and mission to build Jakarta, not just someone who only sells promises without any real action.

"Jakarta needs leaders who have a vision for the future and can appreciate differences, not leaders who can only talk without doing. The public is tired and tired of leaders who can only promise without evidence," he said.

Previously, Giring expressed his desire to become the Governor of DKI Jakarta. However, he does not want to run for the governor of DKI Jakarta in 2024.

"Wow, this is a good question. I really want to. I want to be the Governor of DKI Jakarta someday, but not now," said Giring, some time ago.

Giring stated that currently he is focused on preparing PSI's participation in the 2024 Legislative Election and getting a seat in parliament. "Now my big goal is how PSI wins in 2024, that was then," he said.
