JAKARTA - The Kemayoran Police are still investigating a teenager with the initial C who was arrested during a brawl on Timah Raya Street, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

The teenager with the initial C is still being investigated for possession of a sharp weapon.

"One teenager with the initial C is still languishing at the Kemayoran Police. We are still holding him because he has a machete and he is not a student anymore," said Kemayoran Police Chief, Commissioner Ardiansyah when confirmed, Thursday, June 2.

Even so, C has not been named as a suspect in possession of sharp weapons. As a result of his actions, the teenager with the initial C is threatened with the Emergency Law regarding the possession of sharp weapons.

The police chief said the determination of the suspect could only be made after the ranks held a case with a legal process.

"Later, we will hold the case first, we will continue to examine the witnesses. What is clear is that those who are still being detained are those who carry weapons," he said.

Previously, it was reported that as many as 9 students were detained by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Precision Team when they were about to get into a brawl on Timah Raya Street, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, June 1, early in the morning.

Meanwhile, 8 of them have been returned to their families because no criminal element was found in the 8 teenagers.
