"We have received an initial capital of IDR 1 trillion. Hopefully, we can get another IDR 1.5 trillion in this fiscal year," he said during a working meeting with Commission II at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Antara, Thursday, June 2.

He explained that the land bank is a new entity that was established on January 1, 2022. The operation of the land bank is in an effort to support the guarantee of land availability in the context of a just economy for the public interest, social interests, national development interests, economic equity, land consolidation, and agrarian reform.

"However, due to the difficult state of the state budget, hopefully, the government's commitment will continue, so the land bank can be effective and we can immediately recruit a supervisory board for community representatives, which will later get approval from the DPR," he hoped.

He said, the budget ceiling of the Ministry of ATR in 2022 was IDR 8.3 trillion. The budget underwent two adjustments, namely IDR 270 billion and IDR 263 billion.

"Until now, the program's achievements with a budget absorption of IDR 2.06 trillion or 27 percent of the total budget ceiling," he explained.

Meanwhile, the budget ceiling given in 2023 is IDR 7.49 trillion or much lower than the 2022 ceiling.
